All schools may send WISEid request files generated from their Student Information System (SIS) for new students to be reported in the 2016-17 school year.

In order to request grade changes to applications in OAS, the school should email privateschoolchoice@doi.wi.gov with the following:  student's name and birth date, the incorrect grade level and the correct grade.

All schools must submit the Disclosure of Information form to DPPI, including all signatures of governing board members.  Any new or updated policies at continuing schools must be included with this form.

All continuing schools must submit the number of non-choice students that attended the school during the 2015-2016 school year via the Online Application System (OAS).

All schools new to the PSCP in 2016-2017 must meet requirements to show proof of insurance, fidelity bond, preaccreditation, final budget approval and certificate of occupancy, if applicable.

Schools new to the PSCP for 2016-2017 must submit the Private School Report Card form to the DPI by today.

All accepted applications from MCPC and RCPC schools must be in OAS.  Any eligible applications submitted after 9/1/16 for students enrolled on the 3rd Friday of September won't generate a state aid payment until November.

Schools must submit the September 1 Enrollment report in OAS in order to generate a September state aid  payment for those students.

MPCP schools submit the 2nd Friday in January Enrollment Audit for 2015-2016 school year to DPI.

All schools can begin reporting student data for the 2016-2017 school year through WISEdata-ed-fi API.

All schools take the 3rd Friday in September count of choice pupils enrolled in their school and begin preparing the 3rd Friday in September count report in OAS.

By the end of September DPI processes the state aid payments to eligible schools based on eligible applications and class lists that were submitted by September 1, 2016.

Schools submit the 3rd Friday in September count report in OAS as well as applications for enrolled choice students not submitted by September 1st.  WPCP schools should also include address verification for incoming Choice students.  If any choice students have moved, WPCP schools must have received residency documentation with new address by this date.

To correct OAS, the school should email privateschoolchoice@dpi.wi.gov with the following:  student's current name in OAS, student's current birth date in OAS, the information that needs to be changed and, if the change is to the student's legal name or date of birth, proof of the correct name or date of birth.

Schools that offered summer school in 2016 must submit the summer school program report by today in order to receive state funding.

All schools must submit the continuing eligibility report in OAS, indicating the criteria to be used in meeting one or more of the four standards for continuing eligibility in the 2016-17 school year.

Continuing schools must submit their financial audit and financial audit supplemental schedule for the 2015-16 school year to DPI.

Schools must submit to DPI in OAS the dates of their two required meetings where members of the governing body of the school will be present and where all pupils and their parents/guardians attending or applying to attend may meet with the board members.  At least 30 days before each scheduled meeting date, schools must give written notification of the meeting date, time and place to each pupil or parent/guardian of a minor pupil applying to attend or attending the…

Schools must submit the first and last dates of the current school term in OAS.

Teacher waiver updates are due from teachers at WPCP schools who were granted a 5 year waiver from the requirement to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

By the end of November the DPI processes the November state aid payments to Choice schools based on each school's Third Friday in September count.

Continuing Choice schools must submit revised annual budgets if the Third Friday in September count for Choice students or all enrolled students varies by 20% or 20 students from the budget prepared and submitted on June 30.

All Choice schools must submit the Third Friday in September enrollment audit and the fiscal and internal control practices report to the DPI.

Last day for schools to correct applications received prior to the Third Friday in September count.

Schools that are interested in participating in the Choice program for the first time in the 2017-18 school year must submit proof of their preaccreditation to the DPI.

Choice schools new to the program for the 2015-16 school year must apply for accreditation or be accredited by an accrediting entity by this day.

Choice schools that were new to the program in the 2013-14 school year must be accredited by this day.

A school that is already participating in PSCP and wants to offer summer school in 2017  should submit the summer school questionnaire by January 10, 2017.

Schools must provide 1050 hours of direct instruction in grades 1-6 and 1137 hours for grades 7-12.  The hours can include recess and passing time between classes, but not lunch periods.  Choice attendance requirements also specify that the children are at school on the count dates (3rd Friday in September and 2nd  Friday in January) or any day before or any day after those dates.  The report and instructions are found on the SCHOOL REGISTRATION PAGE.

Schools take the 2nd Friday in January count of choice students and prepare the 2nd Friday in January Report in OAS.

All schools that are fully accredited provide DPI with a letter from accrediting agency confirming current year status.

Deadline to submit the 2nd Friday in January Report in OAS and any applications for enrolled choice student not submitted by Feb. 1.

Schools report in OAS students that remained on their waiting list after the 2nd Friday in January count.

MPCP and RPCP schools cannot change their Open Application Periods after January 10, 2017.

Any school that the DPI determined was not financially viable must submit a budget, cash flow statement and new turnaround plan by this date.

DPI sends February state aid payments based on the 2nd Friday in January Count report to eligible schools via direct deposit.

New MPCP schools in the city of Milwaukee who will offer summer school must submit a copy of a validated application for the school's certificate of occupancy.

If applicable, new schools for 2017-18 located in the city of Milwaukee must submit a copy of a validated application to the Board of Zoning Appeals.

Choice Schools must administer the following standardized tests between March 20 - May 5 2017. Choice schools are required to give the ACT Aspire test to all 9th and 10th graders.
