You sent over 100 messages to legislators in one day. Thank you! But our work is not done.

We need to continue to flood legislators’ inboxes by May 26 so that private schools are included in state budget conversations about K-12 spending.

Please take less than 10 minutes to ask legislators for 10% of the state funds allocated to public education to be given to private schools, which educate 10% of Wisconsin’s K-12 students.

The money would be available to private schools in the form of Health and Safety Grants for Private K-12 Schools, which would help schools upgrade:

  • School safety infrastructure;
  • Mental health resources;
  • Learning loss recovery initiatives;
  • Internet connectivity;
  • Air and water quality.

Please urge your legislators to support our plan by using WCRIS’ Advocacy Portal. Spread the word!
