Student immunization requirements are changing for the 2023-24 school year, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) notified WCRIS. They say the changes were made to more closely align with national vaccine recommendations.

The most notable changes are adding the requirement of a bacterial meningitis vaccine and raising the grade level requirement for a tetanus vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccine is not on the list of required immunizations.
