It’s no secret that the restrictions around the federal Emergency Aid to Nonpublic Schools (EANS) makes it difficult to get the help your school needs.

That’s why WCRIS is collecting examples of how schools are using their EANS funds. If we share how private schools are navigating these new resources, other schools can similarly benefit.

So, share your school’s story via the link below. We are especially needful of examples of creative ways to use EANS, or valuable “work arounds” for one of the 12 allowable uses in the federal law. The form will populate a common document that everyone can use to get ideas.

Wisconsin has $74 million in EANS dollars and a second round will open later this Fall.

The DPI reports we have only used 26% of EANS I funds as of today. Whatever goes unused reverts to the Governor to spend as he sees fit. Therefore, it’s paramount that we help each other maximize these resources for the benefit of independent and religious K-12 schools, staff and students.

You can submit your ideas through this form. You can see what other school leaders have shared here.
