State Government Action

The Assembly Education Committee held a hearing June 24 on the issue of re-opening schools. The Committee Chairman, Rep. Jeremy Thiesfeld (R-Fond du Lac), invited WCRIS to bring principals to testify on what our schools are experiencing. Here is what WCRIS and the principals presented to the committee. It was recorded by Wisconsin Eye, which is the state’s version of C-SPAN.

The DPI issued its guidance (6/22) on re-opening schools in the Fall, WCRIS’s 14-member jurisdictions are determining how they will proceed with in-person, in-school instruction.
