The state’s Speak Up, Speak Out tip line (SUSO), operated by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Office of School Safety (OSS), is now accessible via text message by texting “SUSO” to 738477.

Students and school staff can confidentially seek help for themselves or others as well as report suspicious behavior on the SUSO website, mobile app and now via text.

The tip line is free for all Wisconsin public, private and charter schools. If you’re interested in rolling out SUSO at your school, you can apply for a grant for SUSO promotional items, like footballs, notebooks and pencils, to help promote the tip line at your school. Contact the OSS to learn more.
