Several schools have contacted WCRIS in the past months with questions as they consider joining the Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP). Thank you for reaching out!

WCRIS recognizes that this is no small decision, as the program requirements are complex and participation in the program reveals unique implications for our schools.

To help answer your and your school community’s questions, WCRIS is hosting a “Joining the SNSP” webinar on Friday, Jan. 13 at 1:30pm. The content will build off our latest “Navigating the SNSP” webinar, which featured the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL).

While December’s webinar was high-level, our upcoming webinar will give you a detailed overview of the program; outline the steps to joining; inform you of the requirements of your school and the district; and present important considerations for your school and community – all well before the DPI’s March 1 deadline for your Notice of Intent to Participate form (ITP).

The webinar will inform new schools and refresh seasoned ones. Register here.

In the meantime, consider ordering our SNSP Handbook to prepare for the webinar. Our schools have found this resource invaluable when deciding to join the program and continue to reference it years into the program.

This WCRIS handbook details the program’s requirements and even contains sample documents to use when meeting with SNSP students and parents. WCRIS members pay only $50. Order yours here.
