A new federal program aims to help families with their technology and connectivity expenses. Millions of families across the US are eligible to participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

Families who make less than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty line or participate in SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, or the National School Lunch program are also eligible to participate in the program.

Eligible families can receive up to $30 per month to help offset or cover the cost of at-home internet service. Families can also receive a one-time discount of $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
