The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) will be hosting an in-person training for schools interested in joining a Parental Choice Program.
The following topics will be covered:
- How to complete the Notice of School’s Intent to Participate
- Required school policies
- Student Information System (SIS) and WISEdata requirements
- Surety Bond Financial Requirements
This training will be offered on the following dates:
- November 22, 2019: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- November 25, 2019: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- December 3, 2019: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- *December 4, 2019: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The training is in-person and will be at the DPI’s offices, located at 125 S Webster St, Madison, WI 53703. See information below for details on discounted parking from WCRIS!

WCRIS Open House Post DPI Training
After each session, WCRIS will host an open house at our offices at 110 E. Main St., Suite #802, kitty corner from the DPI.
Come see the WCRIS office, grab a box lunch, pick up a copy of a WCRIS Choice or Legal Handbook, use the restrooms, make phone calls in private, use our free wifi to check your e-mail, talk to WCRIS staff about issues of concern, and grab a water or a snack for the road.
WCRIS will also provide a discounted parking sticker for the nearby US Bank building, on Webster Street, just off the corner of Webster and Main Streets. The ramp is a block west of the DPI.
