Schools must submit their proposed attendance area for the 2023-24 school year to the affected school boards by April 1. Principals commonly use online maps to draw the boundaries of their attendance area.
Then, a list of students needing transportation for the 2023-24 school year is due to the affected school boards by May 15.

Tuition Tax Deduction
By now, you have probably distributed the Schedule PS form so that families can deduct around $4,000 to $10,000 on their state taxes for K-12 tuition.
But did you know that some tax preparation softwares and accounting firms don’t prompt filers to submit the form?
Tax Day is one month away. It may be a good idea to remind families that they can still claim the deduction and should still include the form with their taxes, even if they’re not prompted to do so.
