For All Private Schools: PI-1207 Due This Month
The DPI’s private school report, called the PI-1207, is now open.

Be sure to file your school’s report by Oct. 15 to avoid being designated as “inactive” by the DPI, which could hinder your school’s eligibility for the K-12 tuition tax deduction, state and federal programs and more.

Submit your form to the DPI online. Find instructions here.

Didn’t get a notification from the DPI to submit your PI-1207? Your school’s information in the DPI’s Private School Directory may be inaccurate.

The directory is used by the DPI to populate its email servers. It’s important to keep the information up-to-date so you don’t miss important notices.

The DPI asked WCRIS to remind schools to review their information here. A private school’s authorized users can update contact information, but a help desk ticket may be needed to make other changes. Go here to learn more.

For Choice Schools: Sending School Year Data
During a biweekly meeting with the DPI, WCRIS was also asked to remind choice schools to send their 2023-24 school year data. See instructions from the DPI on how to do so below:

  1. Log into the WISEdata Portal.
  2. Ensure the school has a primary contact set.
  3. Ensure the school can and is sending data to WISEdata from its Student Information System (SIS). If the school is not sending data, it should start sending data as soon as possible.
  4. If the school logs into the WISEdata Portal and sees on the home page that no data is flowing for the 2023-24 school year, work with the school’s SIS support to establish how to send data.
  5. Start reviewing and addressing any validation errors and warnings in the WISEdata Portal. Schools may find reviewing the WISEdata Validation Messages Mini Tutorial webpage helpful.
