CESA 6 has worked with Froedtert Hospital to provide low-cost, fast result COVID testing for all teachers and their families. There is no obligation and it is up to you to determine if participation would meet a need for your school. Rapid Testing Sites provides information on how the program works and locations of testing sites. The school is responsible for:

  • Identifying a site point of contact. That person receives a 15-minute training via Zoom on how to approve and order the test through the LifePoint app. Test results are received within 24 hours, but usually are available the same day (that night).
  • Covering the cost of $100 for each test, billed directly to the school.
Contact Ted Neitzke tneitzke@cesa6.org (262.483.3997) for more information or Mary Ann Schwandt mschwandt@cesa6.org to participate.

Apart from that effort, the Department of Health Services has created contact tracing resources for schools including sample scripts and a training PowerPoint. These new resources are posted on DPI’s COVID-19 Information for School Health Services webpage under Professional Practice Resources – School Nurse.
