Testing at your School? In the upcoming school year, if your school is contemplating using COVID checks for preventing the spread of the virus among unvaccinated students, the state will help you pay for it.

Schools will be connected to testing partners who will handle on-site COVID-19 testing for teachers and staff, as well as students and families. This federally funded program is voluntary for schools and all testing services will be provided for free, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. See details of the K-12 School Testing Program.

EANS: Schools in the Choice program that are using EANS dollars should read this DPI bulletin about federal funding and Choice program audits and reserve balances.
