A new artificial intelligence (AI) bot, ChatGPT, generates shockingly-accurate and convincingly-human answers to any question, presenting major implications for student cheating. The ChatGPT website and others like it are free and easily accessible, and most plagiarism-detection softwares can’t reliably flag AI text.

To help you navigate the unfamiliar territory of AI, WCRIS staff attended a recent webinar, “ChatGPT: How Should Faith-Based Schools Respond?” It covered five actionable considerations unique to religious schools as AI becomes increasingly popular.

Blueprint Schools graciously made the recording of the webinar free and available to our members for a limited time. If you missed it, check out their new online course, ChatGPT for Teachers: Using AI to Enhance Education.

The presenter is an Instructional Coordinator at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, a WCRIS school.
