Third, fourth and fifth grade students are encouraged to write poems and riddles for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Air, Air Everywhere Poetry Contest.
The DNR is hosting the contest in recognition of Clean Air Month in May. Use this teacher’s guide, featuring 10 student activities, to talk about Wisconsin’s air quality next month.
Contest submissions are due via email on May 5. Winners will be featured on the DNR’s website and social media channels.
