All of Wisconsin’s students deserve to go to school where their health, safety and academic needs are met. That’s why WCRIS launched its Advocacy Portal on Tuesday. We need your help in asking legislators to support Health and Safety Grants for Private K-12 Schools.
WCRIS’ proposed grant program would provide one-time funding from the state’s budget surplus to private K-12 schools to address: school safety, mental health, learning loss, water and air quality and internet connectivity. Read the plan here.
WCRIS knows our schools always put students first, but that updating school facilities, adding staff and upgrading curriculum come with a cost. Tell your legislators how a one-time Health and Safety Grant would impact your students’ wellbeing.
