The application period for the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grants is now open. Private schools and faith-based organizations are eligible to apply.

The CCLC grants are used to open community learning centers that provide students, their families and the community with after school enrichment programs. These centers are charged with supporting student learning and development and would offer opportunities and services aimed at complimenting a regular academic curriculum.

Private schools with 40% or more enrolled students who qualify as economically disadvantaged and faith-based organizations that serve students in these schools are eligible to apply.

To Assist applicants who wish to apply the DPI will be offering grant-writing workshops on the following dates/locations:

  • December 12, 2017 at the Best Western Plus, Eau Claire Conference Center, Eau Claire
  • December 15, 2017 at the Holiday Inn – Madison at the American Center, Madison
  • December 18, 2017 from 10 – 11:30 am for a live webinar
