BadgerNet

BadgerNet is the state-wide network providing Internet, video applications and network to Wisconsin’s government and educational bodies across all counties. BadgerNet is also available to authorized users and select government entities such as municipalities, Tribal nations and technical colleges. Previously BadgerNet was a known as a converged network (BCN) but will be fully replaced by the new BadgerNet broadband program by December 2017.

Your school may qualify as an authorized user of BadgerNet. If you would like to find out if your school is eligible you must complete this form and email it to WIbadgernet@wisconsin.gov. Once you are notified of your eligibility status and you qualify as an authorized user you can request services by emailing WIbadgernet@wisconsin.gov.

If you are eligible for the TEACH program your telecommunications will be provided through BadgerNet. To begin the process of outside help for technology funding, WCRIS recommends first contacting TEACH at teach@wisconsin.gov OR, call them at (608) 261-5054.
