Free Kits to Support School-Wide Nutrition Education

The Wisconsin Healthy Schools Challenge is providing free, nutrition education classroom kits to the first 300 schools who register to participate in the new grant opportunity supported by Children’s Hospital Hospital.

The kits include resources and tools to support school-wide nutrition education. When you register you “choose your challenge” and over the next few months complete activities and lessons to educate your students and their families on healthy lifestyles.

In the age of “sitting is the new smoking” it is increasingly important to educate our students about the importance of committing to a healthy lifestyle. Nutrition education can be a first step in making sure your students are making good choices. Well-nourished students are better learners!

Schools that register and submit Nutrition Challenge Summaries now until April 1 are eligible to win prizes and receive a $500 award.
